Of course there are lot of questions regarding HAIR EXTENSIONS. But we have tried to answer few faqs  on hair extensions below.

  • From where is Indian hair sourced?

India is a country steeped in traditional religious beliefs; the hair comes from devotees who willingly offer their hair in the name of prayer to their deities. Men, women and children all shave their heads as a show of gratitude to their Gods. The hair thus colleted from the devotees by the temple management is auctioned off to buyers and distributors. The funds thus generated by the temple management will be put to use in further developing the temple infrastructure.

  • Why is Indian hair popularly used in the hair industry?

Indian hair is popularly used in the hair industry because it is easily available in comparison to other hair. It is also highly regarded for its flexibility, durability and texture. Indian hair is naturally thick and lustrous, so it gives best possible styling and installation options for extensions. The hair is also naturally dark, so it works great with most braiding and weaving applications for women of color. Indian remy hair goes hand in hand with long lasting quality.

  • What is meant by “Virgin Hair”?

Virgin hair is pure and natural un-processed human hair that has been directly shaved from the root. This ensures that the hair cuticles are intact and the all the hair flows in the same natural direction. This unique feature prevents tangling and also helps increase the longetivity of the hair.

  • What is Single Drawn Remy Hair?

Remy hair is guaranteed 100% natural hair; each bundle of hair has come from a different donor. The hair is bundled in such a way that it retains the natural flow as it did while it adorned the donors’ head. Just as each person has varying lengths on hair on his/her head, this same nature is passed on when the person shaves their head. Hence in a single hair bundle of say 15 to 18 inches – we can see hair strands ranging from 15, 16, 17 and 18 inches.

  • What is Double Drawn Hair?

This too is natural human hair, but the difference is that it is in complete contrast to Single Drawn hair. Here every hair bundle contains only hairs of the same length. This is achieved by a manually done process where uneven lengths of hair are removed and only one length is maintained through out the piece. For eg in a bundle of 30 inches hair, you will find only 30 inch strands throughout. This is extremely time consuming and labour intensive process, which makes this kind of hair very expensive.

  • Do you give free samples?

No we don’t. Human hair is a rare and expensive raw material, which undergoes a lot of processing in order to get the final product. Much of the hair is also wasted in this process. Hence, you can understand that the final product is expensive and precious, so we cannot give away free samples.
